Pool Design

As you get ready to start your pool design or remodel, think about your space and determine what size, shape and style works best for you.  There are many shapes and styles to choose from such as:

  • Rectangle
  • Mountain Lake
  • Roman
  • Kidney
  • Oval

You can see many of these shapes chosen by our customers in our gallery.

Once you decided on the shape consider other accessories like a slide or waterfall, that can add interest and entertainment to your space. On Long Island with only 4 months in the swimming season, adding on a heater is an ideal solution to cooler days and chilly nights.  A hot tub or spa might is a great option, both fun for entertaining and unwinding after a long day at work.

What type of pool should I install?
More than anything else, your backyard size and your family’s intended use of the pool will determine what kind of swimming pool you can and should install. Above ground and semi inground pools are great alternatives to inground pools.

What swimming pool accessories do I need?
Even though a swimming pool is great fun, you can amp up the fun factor by adding some accessories.  Consider installing a slide and small waterfall to make swimming more enjoyable.  Don’t forget to add pool floats and loungers for added relaxation. Be sure there are plenty of umbrellas and chaise lounges on hand too, so you can sit outside and enjoy the nice weather.
